Ross Ford is a Republican member of the Oklahoma House of Representatives, representing District 76 . A fourth-generation Tulsa native, he assumed office on November 28, 2017, succeeding David Brumbaugh, and has served continuously since. He is the nephew of Charles Ford, Oklahoma's second-longest serving state legislator. Notable achievements include over 25 years as a Tulsa police officer, where he earned a Medal of Valor, Purple Heart, Survivors Club Award, several Top Cop awards, and two Chief Awards; he was injured in the line of duty in 2007 but continued serving until retiring in 2010.
