ABOUT
Rosalind Osgood was born in Opa Locka, Florida in 1966. She attended Florida Memorial University where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in criminal justice. In 2000, Osgood was elected Broward County Commissioner. She served four terms in that position before running for County School Board in 2012. Osgood won that election and began serving on the Broward County School Board in November 2012. She was re-elected without opposition in 2016. As a School Board member, Osgood has focused on school safety and avoiding budget cuts that could negatively impact students and teachers. She has also worked to expand technical and magnet programs.read less
