Biography
Ronnie Glynn is a Democratic member of the Tennessee House of Representatives, representing District 67 since November 8, 2022, succeeding Jason Hodges. A lifelong Tennessean, he is a retired U.S. Army Master Sergeant with 23 years of service, including time with the 82nd Airborne Division, 7th Special Forces Group, and 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell; he completed three combat deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq. Glynn became a father at a young age, joined the Army from rural Tennessee to support his family, and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business along with Master Parachute Wings. Post-retirement, he became a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters and TN Achieve in 2018, started a small business in 2020, and focuses on quality education, women’s rights, veterans’ issues, and infrastructure. Notable achievements include passing a bill in his first year to address Tennessee’s teacher shortage; he has also served as Democratic Caucus Secretary and Treasurer .
