Ron Alting is a Republican state senator representing District 22 in the Indiana State Senate, which includes most of Tippecanoe County. Born on March 15, 1956, in Lafayette, Indiana, he resides in Lafayette with his wife Pam and two children, Ronnie Jr. and Ashley. A Methodist, Alting works as a Key Account Specialist at Tipmont Rural Electric Membership Cooperative.
