Roger Maki
Roger Allen Maki is a Republican member of the North Dakota House of Representatives representing District 26, which includes Watford City. He is retired and serves on the board of Cross Point Church. Maki is married to MaryLynn and has two children and four grandchildren.
Political Experience
Maki was elected to the North Dakota House of Representatives in the 2024 election and has served in the House since 2025. He is assigned to the Education and Transportation standing committees. During the 2025 legislative session, he voted in support of pro-education and public service policies 27% of the time, including voting to lower the number of years required for teachers to obtain tenure.
