Roger Lynch (60)

Roger D. Lynch is a Republican serving his fifth term as Arkansas State Representative for District 60, which includes portions of Lonoke, Prairie, and Pulaski Counties. He is a small business owner operating Lynch HVACR LLC, specializing in heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration, and previously worked as a plant operations manager at Remington Outdoor Company from 2001 to 2014. Lynch resides in Lonoke with his wife, Sheila, and serves as treasurer for Grace Baptist Church.

Education and Political Experience

• Education: Earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a master’s degree in Operations Management from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.
• Political Experience: Served 10 years on the Lonoke County Quorum Court prior to election to the Arkansas House in 2016 . Re-elected in 2018, 2020, 2022, and 2024 for terms through 2026.
• Notable Positions: Chair of the House Agriculture, Forestry, and Economic Development Committee; member of the House Revenue and Taxation Committee and Joint Budget Committee. Sponsored or co-sponsored legislation on topics including eminent domain tax exemptions, public utilities, higher education restrictions on foreign parties, capital rape offenses, and protections for agricultural producers against financial discrimination.
