Rodney Lawell Hall Jr. is a Republican representing District 20 in the Mississippi House of Representatives. He is a father of four, an attorney, and a Lieutenant Colonel serving as an Infantry Officer in the Mississippi Army National Guard with nearly two decades of military service. Hall's career emphasizes principles of truth, honor, and service, shaped by his leadership roles and deployments.
Notable achievements and positions include commissioning as an Infantry Officer in the 155th Armored Brigade Combat Team in 2008, leading as Platoon Leader, Company Commander, Battalion Operations Officer, and Battalion Executive Officer in the Mississippi Rifles Regiment; graduating from Army Ranger School; deploying to Afghanistan and Syria; and serving as Legislative Director for U.S. Congressman Trent Kelly , where he advised on House Armed Services, Veterans Affairs, and Appropriations matters, helped defeat Red Flag gun laws, opposed vaccine mandates for service members, and supported workforce development, first responders, and disaster mitigation projects. He is married to Tierra Marie Hall.
