Biography
Robin Scheu is a Democrat representing Addison-1 in the Vermont House of Representatives since 2017. Originally from Simsbury, CT, she resides in Middlebury, Addison County, Vermont, and has held key leadership roles including Chair of the House Committee on Appropriations, ex officio member of the Health Reform Oversight Committee, Joint Fiscal Committee, Joint Transportation Oversight Committee, Emergency Board, and Vermont State Infrastructure Bank Board. Notable achievements include serving as Executive Director of the Addison County Economic Development Corporation for nine years until 2017, interim roles at the Addison County Solid Waste Management District and Middlebury Area Land Trust, and past chair of boards such as Mary Hogan School, Vermont Land Trust, Smart Growth Vermont, United Way of Addison County, and Champlain Valley Unitarian Universalist Society. She is a member of the Vermont Climate Solutions Caucus and Women’s Caucus, a Toll Fellow , and participant in the State Legislative Leaders Foundation's Emerging Leaders Program.

- Education: Graduated from Smith College with a degree in Biological Sciences; MS in Management from Antioch University New England.
- Professional Experience: 14 years at Bank of Boston as commercial lender and director of retail banking; Senior Vice President at Bank of Vermont; over 12 years as nonprofit board consultant on governance and strategic planning ; facilitator, curriculum designer, and trainer.
