Robert L. Johnson III, born November 29, 1958, in Natchez, Mississippi, is an attorney and long-serving legislator. He is married to Evelyn Joiner and is a member of the African Methodist Episcopal faith. Johnson is President of the Adams County Voters League, a member of the Mississippi Bar Association, and the Mississippi Trial Lawyers Association. Notable positions include House Minority Leader and service on committees such as Gaming, Judiciary A, Judiciary En Banc, Military Affairs, Ways and Means, and Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks.
