Robert S. Erbele is a Republican state senator representing District 28 in the North Dakota Senate, where he has served since 2001. A semi-retired rancher from Lehr, North Dakota, he previously served as Interim President Pro Tempore in 2016 and has received awards including Legislator of the Year from ND Township Officers and a Public Service Award from the ND Veterinary Medical Association. He is married to Susan with four children and serves as Lay Leader at Lehr Community Church.
