Biography
Robert Burlien Duvall is a Republican state representative for District 17 in Kentucky, serving in the House since 2023. Born on August 19, 1970, in Central City, Kentucky, he is an optometrist at Precision Eye Care in Bowling Green, where he has practiced for over 26 years. He also works in commercial real estate and as an educator at Western Kentucky University . A Baptist and active member of Living Hope Baptist Church—where he served as deacon and elder —Duvall is a strong conservative advocating pro-life, pro-Second Amendment, and pro-growth positions. Married to Amy for over 30 years, he has three sons: Alex, Will, and Grayson. Notable achievements include being named Luxottica National Optometrist of the Year in 2007, recipient of the Silhouette Scholarship for Clinical Optometric Excellence in 1994, and voted Best Eye Doctor in Bowling Green by the Daily News from 2020-2023.

- Education: Attended WKU and University of Kentucky for pre-optometry; earned Doctor of Optometry from University of Alabama at Birmingham .
- Political Experience: Elected to Kentucky House District 17 in 2023 as a Republican; has been a leading conservative voice in Warren County for over 20 years, supporting Republican candidates at local, state, and federal levels. Member of Kentucky Optometric Association, American Optometric Association, and Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce. Involved in community leadership, including establishing Centers for Hope and Hope House .
