Senator Robbie Morris
Robbie Morris is a Republican state senator representing District 11 in West Virginia, which encompasses Braxton, Webster, Pocahontas, Randolph, Upshur, Barbour, and Pendleton counties. His full name is Robert Morris Jr., and he was born on April 29.
Morris is married to Whitney and has two daughters, Elin and Tinley. He is a lifelong conservative guided by his Christian faith and identifies as Pro-Life, Pro-Guns, and Pro-Jobs. He advocates for smaller government, lower taxes, and fiscal responsibility, with a focus on education that prepares students for success.
Education
Morris earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from West Virginia Wesleyan College in 2005, followed by a *Master of Business Administration * from the same institution in 2007. He graduated from Elkins High School.
Political Experience
Morris currently serves as the Economic Development Director for Randolph County. In his legislative role, he has been notably active, sponsoring 65 bills during the 2026 legislative session.
His professional affiliations include positions as Chairman of the West Virginia Broadband Enhancement Council, where he collaborates with the West Virginia Office of Broadband to expand high-speed internet access across the state.
