Biography

Senator Robert Plunkett is a Democrat representing the Bennington District in the Vermont State Senate, where he has served since January 8, 2025. A longtime Deputy State's Attorney in Bennington, he has built a career in public service, including roles on the Bennington Rescue Squad board, co-chairing the Bennington Charter Review Committee , and serving as a former member of the Mount Anthony Union School Board.
