Rob North is a Republican representative for Addison-3 in the Vermont House of Representatives, serving Addison, Ferrisburgh, New Haven, Panton, Vergennes, and Waltham. He lives in Ferrisburgh with his wife Elaine, married for over 21 years, their four children , and two grandsons.

Born in Lafayette, Indiana, and raised in New Jersey, North has resided in Ferrisburgh for 31 years. He enjoys jetskiing, windsurfing, sailing, power boating in summer; ice skating and skiing in winter; and manages two properties year-round while playing guitar and singing in the choir.

Notable achievements include a successful engineering career at Honeywell and BF Goodrich/Collins Aerospace , community service as a Ferrisburgh Justice of the Peace, alternate Act 250 Commissioner for Addison County, high school math teacher in Williston, and soccer coach, plus leadership in church organizations.

Education and Political Experience

Education: BSEE from Duke University; MSEE from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Political Experience: Member of the Vermont House of Representatives for Addison-3 since 2025. Earned a 50% score from Vermont Conservation Voters in 2026 .
