Biography
Rob Consalvo is a Democratic State Representative for the 14th Suffolk District in the Massachusetts House of Representatives, representing the Boston neighborhoods of Hyde Park, Roslindale, Readville, and West Roxbury. He previously served 12 years on the Boston City Council for District 5 , chairing the Housing Committee and vice chairing Government Operations, while overseeing the Neighborhood Housing Trust that awarded approximately $84 million for affordable housing. Elected to the state House in 2020, he serves on committees including COVID-19 & Emergency Preparedness, Housing, Revenue, Bonding, Capital Expenditures, and State Assets. His career began nearly 30 years ago as an aide to U.S. Senator Edward M. Kennedy, and he later was chief of staff for Boston Public Schools.
