Rita Potts Parks is a Republican member of the Mississippi State Senate, representing District 4, which includes parts of Alcorn and Tippah counties. Born on December 18, 1962, in Corinth, Mississippi, she has served since January 3, 2012, after winning the 2011 general election with 50.7% of the vote. She works in quality and regulatory affairs and has one child.
