Richard West is a Republican representing Missouri House District 102, which includes parts of St. Charles and Warren Counties. Elected to his first two-year term in the Missouri House in November 2020, he serves as mayor of New Melle, Missouri, currently in his fourth term, while also owning a small business. Born and raised in St. Louis, he resides in New Melle with his wife of over 30 years, Lori, and their three children: Anthony, Megan, and Tyler. His career highlights include 21 years as a law enforcement officer and criminal investigator, retiring after serving 28 months overseas as an international police advisor in Iraq.
