Biography
Richard J. Cash is a Republican state senator representing District 3 in the South Carolina Senate, serving since 2017. A businessman and father of eight from the Powdersville area, he was born on March 31, 1960. Cash is married to Marcia for 35 years, with eight children and five grandchildren. He founded Personhood South Carolina in 2015, a non-profit advocating for legal personhood for preborn babies from conception, and spent seven years in the pro-life movement. He owns and manages rental properties after founding several businesses over 20 years.
