Biography
Renee Reuter is a Republican member of the Missouri House of Representatives, representing District 112 in Jefferson County. She is an experienced attorney specializing in intellectual property law, with nearly 20 years leading IP programs for a major private company, including trademark practice, contested marks, and litigation. Prior to the state House, she served nearly a decade on the Jefferson County Council, representing District 2, including five years as Council Chair and her current second year as Vice Chair; she played a key role in drafting the council's Rules of Procedure and has drafted legislation, bills, resolutions, amendments, state laws, and regulations. Notable achievements include her election to the Missouri House in 2022 after running unopposed in 2020 for a local role, and she is a candidate for the 22nd District of the Missouri State Senate in the 2026 election. A frequent speaker on IP topics like trademark and copyright law, she became a member of the Missouri Bar in 2003.
