Reginald W. Atkins was born on December 25, 1967. He is a Reverend and businessman who has dedicated his career to both spiritual leadership and public service. At age 28, he became the Senior Pastor and Founder of Zion Family Worship Center Church. Professionally, he serves as a Senior Manager/Director, with experience in the technology and communications sectors.

Atkins is married to Dr. Cynthia Atkins.

Political Experience

Atkins has an extensive background in local government spanning over a decade:

  • Roselle Board of Education: Served as a member for eight years and held the position of President in 2007 and 2016
  • Roselle City Council: Served as Councilman-at-large from 2016 to 2019 and as Council President in 2018-2019. He made history in 2015 when, at age 46, he was elected as the first minister to serve as a Councilman with 70% of the vote
