Raychel Crystal Proudie is a Democratic member of the Missouri House of Representatives, representing District 73 in parts of North St. Louis County. Elected in November 2018 after winning the Democratic primary, she has been re-elected in 2020, 2022, and 2024. A certified classroom teacher and school counselor in Missouri, Illinois, and Louisiana, she has worked in public schools across urban and rural areas, with expertise in Pre-K-12 policy. Proudie is actively involved in community service, including delivering meals to seniors, organizing coat and glove drives, attending local high school events, and mentoring students.
