Biography
Ranjeev Puri is a Democratic state representative for Michigan's 24th House District, encompassing Canton Township. He serves as the Michigan House Democratic Leader . Born on July 12, 1984, in Racine, Wisconsin, to Indian immigrant parents, he is the first person of color and first Sikh-American in Michigan's legislative history, and the highest-ranking South Asian in any U.S. state government. Married to Nidhi with three children , Puri advocates for inclusion, equity, and economic innovation in Michigan's automotive sector.
