Biography

Randy McNally , born January 30, 1944, is a Republican politician serving as Tennessee State Senator for District 5 since 1987. He has been Lieutenant Governor and Speaker of the Tennessee Senate since 2017, making him the second Republican Senate Speaker in modern history and the first from Anderson County in nearly 150 years. A retired pharmacist from Oak Ridge, he lives with his wife Janice , and they have two adult daughters and three grandchildren.
