Biography
Senator Randy Brock represents the Franklin District in the Vermont Senate, including Franklin County and the town of Alburgh in Grand Isle County. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on September 28, 1943, he resides in St. Albans, Vermont. A Vietnam veteran, he served as a captain in the U.S. Army Military Police Corps, earning the Bronze Star Medal and Army Commendation Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster. He is a certified fraud examiner and retired as executive vice president for risk oversight at Fidelity Investments. Brock is married to Andrea Forrest Brock, with two children. Notable achievements include serving as Vermont's 28th State Auditor , five-term state senator, and Senate Minority Leader. He championed tax reforms, energy efficiency legislation saving Franklin County jobs, and rural cell service improvements.
