Biography
Rachele Lamosao is a Democratic State Senator representing District 19 in Hawaii, covering communities including Pearl City, Waipahu, West Loch, Honoʻuliʻuli, and Ho‘opili. Born February 14, 1991, in Honolulu, she is Filipino American, raised in Waipahu by parents who immigrated from the Philippines in the early 1980s. Appointed by Governor Josh Green to fill the Senate vacancy left by Sen. Henry Aquino's retirement , she previously served as State House Representative for District 36 from 2022 to 2025. Notable for her advocacy for working families, youth, and first-generation college students, she emphasizes long-term solutions and community service.
