Quang Nguyen is a Republican representative for Arizona's Legislative District 1, which includes most of Yavapai County and a small part of Coconino County. Born in Vietnam, he escaped the fall of Saigon to communist forces in 1975 at age 12, separating from his parents; he is now 63, resides in Prescott Valley, Arizona , and is Catholic with a wife and two children.
