Priscilla A. Prado is a Democratic member of the Wisconsin State Assembly representing District 9, which covers Milwaukee's southside and West Milwaukee. Elected in 2024, she began serving in January 2025 and focuses on economic empowerment, small business development, healthcare access, financial stability, and resources for working families. A mother of four, small business owner, and two-time heart attack survivor who underwent triple bypass surgery, Prado is recognized for her resilience and community leadership, including past service as Treasurer for the Wisconsin Latino Chamber of Commerce. Notable achievements include the Milwaukee Business Journal’s Diversity in Business Award and recognition as one of Wisconsin’s most influential Latino leaders.
