Philman A. Ladner was born in Wayne, Mississippi. He went on to Delta State University and Mississippi State University graduating in 1972. Ladner served on the Sunflower County Election Commission from 1983 to 2003 and was an officer for the Sunflower County Republican Party from 1983 to 2003. He was a board member with the Sunflower County Humane Society and a member of the Delta Council and Phi Delta Kappa.read less
