Andy Berry
Andy Berry is a Republican member of the Mississippi State Senate, representing District 35. He assumed office on January 2, 2024, and his current term extends through January 4, 2028. Berry was born in Jackson, Mississippi, and has built a career centered on agriculture and rural interests in the state.
Before entering politics, Berry worked for the Mississippi Cattlemen's Association and the affiliated Mississippi Beef Council. He is an avid cattle farmer and has been deeply committed to advancing the interests of cattlemen throughout Mississippi. His district encompasses parts or all of Copiah, Jefferson Davis, Lawrence, and Simpson counties.
Berry won his election to the state senate on November 7, 2023, running unopposed in both the primary and general elections to fill the seat left by the retirement of Chris Caughman.
