Biography
Phillip Rigsby is a Republican State Representative for Alabama House District 25, which covers portions of Madison and Limestone Counties. A lifelong resident of Huntsville, Alabama, he owns and operates Huntsville Compounding Pharmacy. He is active in his community as a volunteer firefighter, EMT, chaplain, and past Cubmaster of Cub Scout Troop 8 at Monrovia Elementary School. He previously served as president of the Madison County Pharmacy Association and the Harrison College of Pharmacy Alumni Association. Rigsby and his wife, Pamela, have two sons. Notable achievements include endorsement by the Alabama Farmers Federation for his proven track record, conservative values, and accessibility to district needs. He serves on the House Committee on Constitution, Campaigns and Elections.
Education
Rigsby graduated from S.R. Butler High School. He earned his undergraduate degree and Doctor of Pharmacy from Auburn University.
Political Experience
Rigsby announced his candidacy for Alabama House District 25 in 2021 as a Republican, running for the open seat previously held by Speaker Mac McCutcheon. He currently serves as the Republican representative for District 25.
