Biography

Phil Scott is a Republican member of the Virginia House of Delegates representing the 63rd District, which includes parts of Orange and Spotsylvania counties. Born in 1982 in Voorhees, New Jersey, he was elected in 2021 and has served since 2022. He is a team manager leading background investigators for a government contractor, husband to Elisabeth Ann Dodds Scott, and father to five daughters: Alaina, Julia, Lydia, Brianna, and Priscilla. Notable community roles include director of the Lake Wilderness Property Owners' Association and member of the Spotsylvania County Citizens Budget Review Committee.
