Peter Strand

Peter Strand is an American politician representing Montana House District 63 as a member of the Democratic Party. He assumed office in January 2025 following his election in 2024, succeeding Alice Buckley.

Born in 1965 in San Francisco, California, Strand is now a permanent resident of Bozeman, Montana, where he relocated in 1995 to start a family. He is a retired educator with 28 years of experience teaching in the Bozeman Public Schools.
