Biography
Peter Conlon is a Democratic representative for Addison-2 in the Vermont House of Representatives, serving since 2017. He resides in Cornwall, Vermont, with his wife Mary and three sons. Raised in Montpelier, he settled in Cornwall in 1990 after serving as Peace Corps volunteers in Paraguay. His career includes work as a reporter and news editor at the Addison Independent through 2004, a dairy labor specialist in New England, and since 2014, owning Vermont Move Management and Home Inventory. He serves on the Cornwall Volunteer Fire Department and the Addison Central School District board, and is a former president of Friends of Cornwall School and Champlain Valley Little League. Notable achievements include chairing the House Committee on Education and leading efforts on school district consolidation, such as proposing a map to merge 119 districts into 27.
Education and Political Experience
