Pete Campos is a Democratic State Senator representing District 8 in the New Mexico State Senate, covering Colfax, Guadalupe, Harding, Mora, Quay, San Miguel, and Taos counties. He has served since 1991 and is noted for his long tenure in education and legislative roles, including chair of the Democratic Caucus, membership on the Legislative Finance Committee, Finance Committee, and Legislative Council.
