Pepper L. Ottman is a graduate of Cornell University where she majored in mechanical engineering. Following graduation, she worked on engine design for a major automobile company in Detroit, Michigan. In 2002, Pepper returned home to run the family business, Ottman Manufacturing, when her father retired. She modernized operations and led the company to achieve record growth over the next decade.
