Patrice "Penni" McClammy

Patrice Ernita "Penni" McClammy is an American attorney and politician serving as a member of the Alabama House of Representatives from the 76th district. A native of Montgomery, Alabama, she attended Sidney Lanier High School. Outside of her political career, McClammy operates a private legal practice.

McClammy holds multiple degrees across various fields of study:

• Bachelor of Arts in political science from Hampton University
• Associate of Arts in legal studies from Faulkner University
• Juris Doctor from the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law
• PhD in public policy and administration from Florida State University

Political Experience

McClammy is a member of the Democratic Party and represents District 76 in the Alabama House of Representatives. She assumed office on November 17, 2021, following the death of her father, Thad McClammy, who previously held the position. She ran unopposed in the general election to succeed him.
