Paula Rawl Calhoon

Paula Rawl Calhoon is a Republican member of the South Carolina House of Representatives representing the 87th District in Lexington County. She was born on December 6, 1957, in Orangeburg County, South Carolina. Calhoon is a business owner and is married to Donald V. Calhoon as of April 2018.

Education

Calhoon earned both her Bachelor of Arts degree and Master of Science degree from the University of South Carolina, graduating in 1980 and 1981 respectively.

Political Experience

Calhoon was first elected to the South Carolina House of Representatives in 2018, assuming office on November 12, 2018. She succeeded Todd Atwater in representing the 87th District. Since taking office, she has served on two House committees: the Education and Public Works Committee and the Ethics Committee.
