Paul Rose is a Republican member of the Tennessee Senate representing District 32, which includes Tipton County and part of Shelby County. He assumed office on March 12, 2019, succeeding Mark Norris, and resides in Covington, Tennessee, with his wife Nancy and their three children. A lifelong resident of West Tennessee and businessman, Rose won election in 2019 with 9,149 votes and reelection in 2020 with 70,649 votes. He serves on the 111th General Assembly and holds positions such as board member for the Boys and Girls Club of the Hatchie River Region, former chairman of the Tennessee Baptist Children's Home Board of Trustees, Dyersburg State Community College Foundation Board, First Baptist Church in Covington, and the National Rifle Association.
