Biography
Patty Lewis is a Democratic State Senator representing District 7 in the Missouri Senate, which includes part of Jackson County. Elected in November 2024, she previously served two terms in the Missouri House of Representatives for District 25.
With a background as an ICU/critical care nurse and health care executive, Lewis has focused her legislative efforts on women's reproductive rights, common-sense gun reform, access to affordable health care, workers' rights, and equal opportunities for LGBTQ+ Missourians and other marginalized communities. She has advocated against the far-right supermajority in the legislature, prioritizing integrity and community interests.
