Biography
Patricia A. "Pattie" McCoy is a Republican representing Rutland-1 in the Vermont House of Representatives. She serves as House Minority Leader since 2019 and has been a member since 2015. A Poultney resident since 1979, she is married to Matthew A. McCoy, with three daughters, two sons-in-law, and five grandsons. Notable achievements include 26 years as Poultney Town Clerk and Treasurer , earning Honorary Membership from the Vermont Municipal Clerk’s and Treasurer’s Association in 2021, and selection as a 2018 CSG Henry Toll Fellow. She is active in St. Raphael’s Catholic Church, Poultney Rotary , Poultney Woman’s Club, and American Legion Auxiliary Post #39, and previously served on the Poultney Development Review Board and Planning Commission.
