Biography
Patti Anderson is a Republican representing District 33A in the Minnesota House of Representatives, serving since 2023. Born June 4, 1966, she resides in Dellwood with her husband Doug and their six children. A business owner, she previously served as Minnesota State Auditor , Eagan City Councilmember and Mayor , and Commissioner of the Department of Employee Relations under Governor Tim Pawlenty , where she eliminated her own department for government efficiency. Notable achievements include building a chain of Twin Cities salons employing nearly 100 people, leading the Minnesota Free Market Institute as its president, and currently serving as Vice Chair of Fraud Prevention and State Agency Oversight Policy, plus member of Taxes and Transportation Finance and Policy committees, and Chair of the Legislative Audit Commission's Audit Subcommittee.
