Biography
Patrick Biggins
Representative Patrick Biggins is a Democratic state representative for Connecticut House District 11, which encompasses East Hartford and Manchester.
Patrick Biggins is a resident of East Hartford with a strong commitment to community service. He is married to Emily and is the father of three daughters who attend East Hartford Public Schools. Beyond his legislative work, Biggins is actively involved in his community as the President of the East Hartford Men's Golf Club.
Education and Professional Experience
Biggins has built a career in education and student support services. He currently works as a school counselor at Odyssey Community School in Manchester, where he provides counseling and support to students. Previously, he served as a school counselor at Illing Middle School, also in Manchester, where he gained extensive experience in student services and educational support.
Political Experience
Biggins was first elected to the Connecticut General Assembly on November 5, 2024, beginning his tenure in 2025. His term will end in 2027. Prior to his election to the state house, he served on the East Hartford Board of Education, where he worked to support students in receiving quality education.
In the state legislature, Biggins serves on three committees: Education, Public Health, and Regulations Review. His stated goal as an elected official is to work toward the overall betterment of his community and the state of Connecticut.
