Pat Outman is a Republican member of the Michigan House of Representatives representing the 91st district, which includes most of Montcalm County, parts of northeastern Kent County , and portions of Ionia County . Born on April 20, 1992, in Lakeview , Michigan, he is married to Autumn Outman and lives with her and their sons, Miles and Boyd, on the family farm in Six Lakes, Montcalm County. Son of former state Representative and current Senator Rick Outman, Pat followed in his father's footsteps by entering politics, previously serving as chairman of the Montcalm County Republican Party and working on local Republican efforts. A Baptist, carpenter, contractor, homebuilder, and businessman involved in the multi-generational family excavating business and cattle operation, he is also active in the Montcalm County Farm Bureau, NRA, and promoting youth hunting and fishing. Notable positions include Assistant Minority Leader, Chair of the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure , and member of committees such as Energy, Communications, and Technology; Judiciary; Tax Policy; Transportation, Mobility and Infrastructure; Economic Competitiveness; Election Integrity; and Natural Resources and Tourism. First elected in 2020 to the 70th district , he assumed office January 1, 2021, and won re-election to the 91st district in 2022 and 2024.

Education and Political Experience

• Education: Graduated from Lakeview High School in 2010, where he participated in wrestling, golf, and football; earned an Associate's Degree in General Studies from Montcalm Community College ; graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ferris State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration and an Associate's in Legal Studies.
• Political Experience: Prior to election, worked in the Michigan House as a committee clerk and district liaison for Montcalm County; elected November 2020 to 70th district, re-elected to 91st district post-redistricting ; has served three sessions as of 2026.
