Biography
Representative Pat Heinert
Pat D. Heinert is a Republican state representative serving North Dakota's District 32 in Bismarck since 2017. He is retired, previously served as Burleigh County Sheriff, and holds memberships in the Knights of Columbus and Elks Club, with inductions into the St. Mary’s Central High School Hall of Fame and University of Mary Hall of Fame.
Pat D. Heinert resides in Bismarck, North Dakota. He is married to Lynn and has two children. A Catholic, he is retired and has a background in law enforcement as the former Burleigh County Sheriff. Notable achievements include his induction into the St. Mary’s Central High School Hall of Fame and University of Mary Hall of Fame. He has served on various committees, including the Ethics Committee, Joint Committee on Education Policy, Joint Judiciary Committee, Kindergarten Through Grade Twelve Education Coordination Council, State Council for Interstate Adult Offender Supervision, and State Council for Interstate Juvenile Supervision.

- Political Experience: Elected to the North Dakota House of Representatives for District 32 in 2016 and serving continuously since 2017 . Ran as a candidate in 2024. Affiliated with the North Dakota Republican Party.
