Biography
Noel Warren Williams Jr. is a Republican member of the Georgia House of Representatives representing District 148, which includes Crisp, Pulaski, and Wilcox counties, as well as portions of Houston and Ben Hill counties. He has served since 2019, winning elections in 2018 and 2020 . An insurance agent, he is principal partner at Partners Benefit Group and previously worked at Life of the South Insurance Agency . Married to Laura Williams with two children , he resides in Cordele, Georgia, and is a member of First United Methodist Church.
Notable achievements and positions: Chair of the House Banks and Banking Committee; Vice Chair of the House Insurance Committee; member of House Rural Caucus ; serves on Natural Resources & Environment, Retirement, Ways & Means, Game Fish & Parks, Small Business Development, and State Planning & Community Affairs committees. Community roles include board chair of Crisp Regional Foundation, board member of Crisp Regional Hospital and South Georgia Banking Company, secretary of Crisp Academy Board of Trustees, and past involvement with Cordele-Crisp Chamber of Commerce and Kiwanis Club.
