About
Senator Noah Robinson
Noah Robinson is a Republican senator representing District 2 in Oregon, which encompasses Cave Junction and parts of Josephine, Jackson, and Douglas counties.
Noah Robinson is the son of Art Robinson, who previously served as senator for District 2. He was raised in Cave Junction and homeschooled alongside his five siblings. Robinson and his family have established themselves as experts in education, developing curricula and working on educational initiatives that have shaped his career trajectory.
Beyond education, Robinson has worked extensively in science. He has conducted research on protein chemistry and collaborated with other scientists on work relevant to current political discussions. He is a chemist affiliated with the Oregon Institute of Science and Medicine, the family's nonprofit organization.
Education and Career
Robinson developed significant expertise in education at a young age. At age 15, he oversaw the project to create and market the second and most comprehensive version of the Robinson Curriculum, a self-teaching homeschool program that has educated more than 100,000 students worldwide. As a homeschool student himself, he completed his college education and went on to work in scientific research.
Political Experience
Robinson has extensive involvement in local and state politics. He was instrumental in two major campaigns in Josephine County to stop what he characterizes as bureaucratic overreach, winning both ballot measures with a 79% vote. He has worked with Republicans throughout Oregon to defend their counties' interests. His political platform emphasizes protecting constitutional rights, particularly Second Amendment protections, preserving natural resource industries including timber and mining, supporting parental choice in schools, and maintaining low taxes.
