Biography
Nino Mangione
Antonino D. "Nino" Mangione is a Republican politician and radio host from Baltimore County, Maryland. Born on April 1, 1987, in Baltimore, he has been a lifelong resident of the area where his family continues to work and live today. Before entering elected office, Mangione was active in local politics through grassroots efforts, testifying at bill hearings, volunteering on Republican campaigns, and engaging in conservative political activism.
Education
Mangione attended Calvert Hall High School in Baltimore, graduating in 2005. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Towson University in 2009, graduating cum laude.
Political Experience
Mangione was first elected to the Maryland House of Delegates in 2018 and was sworn in on January 9, 2019, representing District 42B. He won a strong victory in the Republican primary and defeated well-funded Democratic opponents in the general election. Following redistricting, he has represented District 42A since 2023 and was decisively re-elected in 2022.
In the House of Delegates, Mangione serves on the Judiciary Committee and its subcommittees for Property and Casualty and Family matters. As a freshman legislator, he was appointed to the Appropriations Committee and has been recognized as a tireless advocate for prudent spending and strong fiscal management.
Mangione is known for his unwavering support of law enforcement, advocacy for parental rights in education, protection of taxpayers, and support for conservative values including Second Amendment rights and right-to-life positions. He also hosts the radio program "The Six at 6 with Nino Mangione" and works as a web manager for WCBM radio.
