Biography
Nicole A. Williams is a Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates representing District 22 in Prince George's County. Appointed by Governor Larry Hogan on November 15, 2019, and sworn in on December 6, 2019, to succeed Tawanna P. Gaines, she was elected in 2022 and serves alongside Delegates Anne Healey and Ashanti Martinez. Notable achievements include serving as Deputy Majority Whip since 2023, Chair of the Prince George's County House Delegation , and leadership on the Judiciary Committee, including chairs of its Public Safety, Family, and Property and Casualty Subcommittees. She advocates for women's rights, healthcare access, small businesses, public safety, and community associations, and is a member of the Legislative Black Caucus, Women Legislators of Maryland, and Maryland Legislative Latino Caucus.
