Nicole Grohoski

Nicole Grohoski is a Democratic state senator representing Senate District 7 in Maine, which encompasses communities in Hancock County including Bar Harbor, Blue Hill, Brooklin, Brooksville, Castine, Cranberry Isles, Deer Isle, Ellsworth, Frenchboro, Lamoine, Mount Desert, Orland, Penobscot, Sedgwick, Southwest Harbor, Stonington, Surry, Swan's Island, Tremont, Trenton, and Verona Island, as well as Isle au Haut in Knox County.

Grohoski is a cartographer and geographic information system specialist who works for a small, Maine-based mapping company. Beyond her legislative duties, she serves as a driver for the local Meals on Wheels program, volunteers with Green Ellsworth, and serves on the Board of the Northern Forest Canoe Trail. She is also a member of the Scientific and Technical Subcommittee of the Maine Climate Council.

Political Experience

Grohoski has served in the Maine state legislature since her election in November 2018. She initially served in the House of Representatives during the 129th and 130th Legislatures before transitioning to the Senate during the 130th Legislature.
