Biography

Nicole Lefrancois Clowney is a Democrat representing District 21 in the Arkansas House of Representatives, which includes portions of Washington County centered around Fayetteville. She is currently serving her fourth term in the 95th General Assembly , having first been elected in 2018 and taking office in 2019. An educator and attorney, she teaches at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and lives there with her husband, Steve , and their two daughters. Notable achievements include founding the Northwest Arkansas chapter of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America and advocating for gun violence prevention, behavioral healthcare, criminal justice reform, and public education.
